Everything was perfect, exceptionally nice location adjacent to the restaurant below as well as the bus stop and the ferry for visiting Bellagio and Varenna, very amiable staff. The a double room was nicely decorated, included a shower, hair dryers, and bath sheets. The bed was comfy and there was free Wi-Fi.

The views were fine, but everything else seemed like a colossal mistake. Check-in was an absolute disaster when we were given keys to a room that was already occupied! Then, a day without hot water! Honestly, I almost wrote a glowing review until I realized the hotel didn't offer me any upgrade or complimentary goodies for the trouble, how rude!

The trek to reach our room involved a steep 45-degree incline and multiple flights of stairs, exhausting, especially with heavy luggage. Our room was not cleaned . Lastly, we faced problems with the internet connecting and discovered that the bar and restaurant were closed without prior notice.

The location was fantastic! Casa Aquadulza is nestled perfectly between the Tremezzo and Villa Carlota ferry stops. The family room with a lake view was spacious and clean, and the fine views from the room were the cherry on top. The nearby café at Villa Carlota was a good bonus for morning snacks.
Access with bags was challenging.
